By choosing Monta’s Universal Check-out plugin, you can allow the consumer to choose between different carriers, local pickup points, and time slots. Many consumers have their preferred carrier and time of day to receive a package, so the option to choose from delivery options is highly appreciated by the consumer themselves! Our data shows that conversion rates even increase by an average of 6.1%. And the great thing is, if you use Monta’s fulfillment services, this option is already included.
You’re probably wondering, “Can the consumer really choose from all possible options?”
The answer is: it’s up to you! Of course, we ensure that as a webshop owner, you have control over which options are presented to the consumer. So, you can make a selection from the different logistical options we can offer and then provide the consumer with the choice.
What are the settings?
Monta’s Universal Check-out system can be integrated into your webshop and currently offers the ability to ship through 15 carriers. Initially, the webshop selects from these carriers, and then the consumer can choose within that selection during the check-out page of your webshop.
Shipments are possible worldwide, often with multiple carriers and options per country. This can be easily set up through the Montaportal. Additionally, you can set rates per carrier and country. You can also set requirements for package signing upon delivery or specify evening-only deliveries for certain carriers. Furthermore, discounts can be applied to shipping costs for shipments above a certain amount. However, free delivery is often chosen to meet consumer expectations.
The Universal Check-out is globally applicable and available in Dutch and English.
